Currently looking for a Credentialing Manager to fill an opening with a national provider of vision, dental and hearing services with their office located in Owings Mills, MD. The ideal candidate will hold a MBA or MHA and have 5-7 years credentialing experience in a physician group, hospital, or health system with at least 2 of them in a management role.
Responsibilities of the Credentialing Manager

- Oversee the credentialing and re-credentialing functions and adheres to established processes and timeframes
- Work with management to develop and implement organizational strategies, policies and workflow processes
- Provide staff support to the Credentialing Committee and its Chairperson(s) regarding the processing of credentialing, re-credentialing and delegated audits presented to the committee
- Establish and maintain productivity matrix for credentialing staff
- Provide the management and oversight of projects and the prioritization of projects
- Serve as the senior point of contact for all delegated entities with respect to credentialing

Requirements of the Credentialing Manager

- 5-7 years credentialing experience in a physician group, hospital, or health system; At least 2 of these years in a management role.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or MHA preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of credentialing database software (Vistar preferred)
